Northwest Louisiana Master Gardener Association
The Northwest Louisiana Master Gardener Association sponsors the annual Le Tour des Jardins, a fascinating spring tour of local gardens, and a popular spring plant sale.The group's mission is to support the LSU AgCenter in disseminating research-based gardening information to the people of north Louisiana. Since classes began in 1998, hundreds of individuals have been certified as Louisiana Master Gardeners and have gone on to educate the community. Current programs include the World of Gardening Seminar Series with four free lectures presented to the public annually; the Master Gardener Hotline, a service providing answers to gardeners' telephoned questions; The Seedling, a monthly newsletter; and many others.
