Mardi Gras in the Ark-LA-Tex
Mardi Gras in the Ark-La-Tex provides great fun for families as well as those who like to party hearty. Over the course of the two parade weekends, there are seven parades. The two major parades offer a no-alcohol family zone.
This party is a grand display of pageantry. The floats are meticulously crafted to reflect various themes. Millions of throws and trinkets are tossed to those below yelling, "Throw me something Mister". Bring your lawn chairs and a bag to hold all the throws you'll catch!
